## What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections? Anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles in the face to minimise lines and wrinkles. They are popular for crow’s feet and forehead lines. They are suitable for people who want to minimise the appearance of lines and wrinkles. The effects usually last for 3-4 months; however, this varies from person to person and can depend on age, skin type, lifestyle and depth of wrinkles. Avoid anti-wrinkle injections if you are trying to conceive, are pregnant or breastfeeding; have a breathing condition, such as asthma, a skin condition or infection in the treatment area, a condition that affects your nerves or muscles, are allergic to any ingredient in the injection including botulinum toxin, have difficulty swallowing, bleeding issues, drooping eyelids, weakness in your forehead muscles, have had facial surgery, are planning to undergo surgery, are taking certain medications or supplements.
